About the role

Laing O’Rourke is recruiting a Senior Bid Manager to join our growing business in Melbourne. With an exciting pipeline of major infrastructure projects, it’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of a great team and culture.

Key responsibilities

The Senior Bid Manager will have primary accountability for the successful planning and execution of Expression of Interest and Tender phases for selected major project opportunities. The role would be a direct report and close working relationship with the General Manager Pre Contracts and operate in collaboration with Project Directors/Leaders, Technical and Functional Leaders and the wider bid teams.

This role would be based in Melbourne, predominantly focussed on Victorian Rail and Road infrastructure opportunities with potential to support Laing O’Rouke work winning activities interstate as required.

About you

You will have relevant tertiary qualifications, as well as a proven experience in delivering high value bids within Rail and/or Road projects.

You will have a collaborative approach to building and sustaining high performance teams and engaging with clients, stakeholders and partners

Strong organisational and communication skills to integrate Team, Technical, Functional and Commercial expertise to generate compelling solutions that satisfy client and stakeholder needs.
