We have an exciting opportunity for a bubbly and energetic customer service professional to join our Operations Team as an Exception Handling Agent located in Mascot !

WHAT WILL MY JOB LOOK LIKE?

  • Providing exceptional service to our customers while working on the reception desk at our depot

    • Packing boxes and quoting delivery costs

    • Carrying out security inspections on shipments

    • Retrieving parcels from the warehouse and handing to customers

  • Contacting customers by phone and email to ensure their shipments get from A to B on time and any errors are resolved quickly and efficiently

  • Communicating with our DHL colleagues from across the globe to assist with shipment enquiries

  • Assisting in our warehouse with sorting and scanning shipments and updating any incorrect delivery labels

  • You will be working in a close knit team of 4 other receptionists

  • Hours of work are approx. 9\:00am to 5\:00pm Monday through Friday

WHAT CAN I BRING TO THE JOB?

  • Minimum 1 year face to face customer service experience

  • Retail Experience - desirable

  • Professional demeanour and personal presentation

  • Exceptional telephone manner

  • Great communication skills

  • Reliability and a can do attitude

  • Attention to detail

  • A focus on teamwork

  • Sound computer knowledge and ability to pick up new computer systems quickly

  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Physical fitness – ability to walk, climb, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel and crouch repeatedly
