About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a recent a school leaver or a person looking for a change in occupation to undertake an Administration Traineeship with Powerlink Queensland. We will provide you with solid experience in general administration functions in a supportive working environment.

  • Reception duties - answering incoming calls, visitor management, and processing of pool vehicle bookings.
  • Mailroom duties - processing of incoming/outgoing mail and courier items.
  • General administrative duties to support effective and timely services across the business.
  • Complete the Certificate III qualifications in Business.
About you

Your success in this role will primarily come down to your attitude. You are enthusiastic, willing to learn, and you’re usually the first one to see what needs to be done and to act on it.

You have completed Year 12 with a minimum of a Sound Achievement in English and Mathematics, and you have basic computer skills and a natural problem solving ability.

Please Note: This development opportunity is only open to those who have not yet completed a Certificate III (or higher); a Certificate II in Business/Business Administration; or a Traineeship/Apprenticeship.
