Administration Officer

SUEZ is looking for an Administration Officer to undertake clerical duties including data entry, reporting, filing and maintenance of billing, customer pricing and database management. In this role you will also be responsible for the maintenance of SUEZ administration records such as effective archive and filing systems. You will provide assistance to the collections management team and offer associated confidential administrative secretarial support generally.

Other duties include:

  • Undertake reception duties including answering telephone calls and managing mail
  • Prepare administration documents as required
  • Coordinate & maintain an accredited EQ&S system with the Operations Manager
  • Ensure main office buildings on site are kept clean and presentable to visitors and staff, ensuring that there are adequate supplies of materials and consumables at all times
  • Administer contract requirements for major contracts
  • Prepare monthly MBR Report and supporting documentation
  • Act as a liaison point for staff and customers to the Manager

​To achieve this, you will:

  • Be competent in the use of commercial software applications/Microsoft Office
  • Be a capable typist and able to achieve speeds of 40 wpm
  • Have strong numeracy skills with the ability to quickly and accurately perform calculations
  • Admin/data entry experience
  • Experience in an accounts position with exposure to accounts payable and receivable
  • Be capable in the design and layout of business forms, proposals and spreadsheets
  • Possess a strong Customer Service attitude and a willingness to communicate with customer representatives at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills
  • High degree of diplomacy and confidentiality

Any experience in SAP will be highly regarded and an understanding of the waste industry and the administration of waste transport and disposal is desirable but not essential.
