Reporting to the Line Coach, the role provides both initial and ongoing coaching to Supervisors and the workforce in the application of the BOS tools and methods, and work to embed a new way of working.
Your key deliverables include:
- Embedding BOS behaviours among the frontline operators.
- Enabling continuous improvements in frontline safety, productivity, and cultural metrics;
- Implementing BOS tools and track progress of the deployment and
- Training and coaching supervisors and frontline
Jimblebar is a fully automated mine site located 40 kms North East of Newman, Western Australia and you will be working on a fly-in fly-out roster. The outstanding facilities at Warrawandu FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, golf driving nets, outdoor cinema, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court; beach volleyball court, games room, music room and TV lounge. All rooms at the village have access to 3G wireless internet and Skype, an en-suite bathroom, flat screen television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
Skills and Other Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who possess business knowledge, demonstrate effective leadership on a day-to-day basis, who are innovative with a bias for action, can influence others and have a strong ability to build capability in others and lead change.
To be successful you demonstrate the following:
- The ability to effectively identify opportunities to increase value and eliminate hazards, waste and variability.
- Strong problem solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions.
- Experience as an Execution Supervisor or similar.
- Ability to understand production/maintenance (systems) data.
- Ability to engage with all levels of the business from frontline employees to higher level management.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies (preferred).
You will receive full BOS Immersion training to support your role and ongoing mentoring and guidance from experienced coaches.
