Continuous Improvement Practitioner (Line Technical Specialist)
You should be a person who fervently believes in the power of employees to drive continuous improvement. Your passion and drive should convince teams to make continuous improvement part of their DNA. We want to learn and integrate strong and proven practices from various industries to sustain a robust BOS. For these reasons, we are particularly keen to consider individuals who have varied industry experience and exposure in deploying the suite of quality and productivity methods in organisations.

Our BOS team actively coaches the leaders and their teams to apply the tools and methods and embed the new way of working. The team’s set up banks on individuals to provide the leadership and direction and the ‘hands-on’ execution of implementing improvements. That is the person that we are seeking, the BOS Line Technical Specialist.
Your key deliverables are:
- Embed BOS behaviours among the frontline;
- Enable continuous improvements in frontline safety, productivity, and cultural metrics;
- Implement BOS tools and track progress of the deployment and
- Train and coach supervisors and frontline
As a Line Technical Specialist, you demonstrate:
- The ability to effectively identify opportunities to increase value and eliminate hazards, waste and variability,
- Strong problem solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions,
- Ability to engage with all levels of the business from frontline employees to site leadership.

You will be based at our Jimblebar mine site on a fly-in fly-out (5/2, 4/3, 9/5) roster. Jimblebar is located 40kms North East of Newman, Western Australia. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, golf driving nets, outdoor cinema, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court; beach volleyball court, games room and TV lounge. All rooms at the village have access to 4G wireless internet, an ensuite bathroom, flat screen television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
