The Project Manager is responsible for leading one or more project teams delivering a solution to the customer using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project according to the project charter, project agreement or contract.

Required Education and Experience:

Minimum 10 years project management experience with a proven track record of consistent achievement in a senior consultant and/or delivery lead role.

S/4HANA design and implementation experience including extensive demonstrable SAP experience including at least 3 full end-to end project lifecycles.

Strong consulting skills, including analytical thinking, problem solving, and superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively engage with clients and others

Proven record of guiding and supporting team members to achieve the overall customer objectives.

Must have broad knowledge of the development life cycle.

Ability to gain confidence with the customer and an ability to influence at multiple levels

Strong IT skills

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and co-ordinating all work for workstreams and aligning activities to a wider program.

Identifying Critical Success Factors (CSFs) for the project with the customer and aligning workstreams to maximize value.

Leading business workshops – As-Is analysis and solution design sessions.

Providing guidance and recommendations on best practice implementation decisions and approaches.

Supporting other project team members to deliver necessary work

Work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success

Design, develop, and configure software systems to meet client requirements either end-to-end from analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system or for a specific phase of the lifecycle.

Manage the scope, cost, schedule, scope, and contractual performance deliverables

Apply techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management

Manage all project resources, including IBM, customer and subcontractors

Establish an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer

Provide day-to-day direction to the project teams

Provide regular project status updates to the customer and IBM Management

Develop, manage and maintain the project plan

Timely and accurate project(s) reporting and management of project progress, risks and issues

Provide guidance on strategies, requirements specifications, and functional specifications, which meet customer requirements and project standards

Facilitate development of the application architecture, technology selection and detail application specifications

Closely work with other teams to ensure tight alignment of objectives and expectations.

Manage ISV and IBM teams to ensure that the developed solution matches the required solution

Define and monitor issues, dependencies, risks and risk mitigation strategies

Monitor and assesses the quality of the deliverables

Facilitate development of reuse opportunities

Provide feedback on methodology improvement/customization and share new tools to enhance processes

Provide overall guidance to teams under direction.

Be eligible to obtain an AGSVA baseline security clearance or already have AGSVA baseline security clearance
