BMA is Australia’s largest coal producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. BMA is owned 50:50 by BHP and Mitsubishi Development. BMA operates seven Bowen Basin mines (Goonyella Riverside, Broadmeadow, Daunia, Peak Downs, Saraji, Blackwater and Caval Ridge) and owns and operates the Hay Point Coal Terminal near Mackay.
The Broadmeadow mine is an underground coal mine in the Bowen Basin Region of Queensland, 25 kilometres from the town of Moranbah. It has had its life of mine extended for a further 21 years, along with the increasing of its productive capacity as a result on an expansion program announced in March 2011. The Broadmeadows mine produces medium volatile hard coking coal that is exported to the Middle East, Asia, South America, South Africa, Europe, Japan and India.
Reporting to the Superintendent of Governance and Technical Stewardship, you will be responsible for general administration as required by G&TS. Including Travel bookings, scanning and printing plus providing the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents.

In this integral role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Provide robust change control processes and ensure documentation standards are followed;
- Provide input into targets for the sub-function and deliver against them;
- Identify and implement G&TS improvement initiatives;
- Issue and accept current documentation for the Operation to the assets projects and Major projects function as per a defined scope.
Your background and experience within operations, maintenance, and / or project delivery in heavy industrial sectors will be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of document control process and experience with SAP, Microsoft office and Documentum.
You will have the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and show confidence in learning new and varied software and possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
