With the new opening of Silks Sydney just months away we are now looking for a dedicated and passionate Chef De Partie that has experience in Authentic Chinese cuisine. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the pre-opening team with a prestigious high-end dining brand and step up into a challenging role & develop your skills in an environment with high expectations.

The Chef de Partie provides direct support to the business unit management team in the aim of achieving the successful implementation, development and maintenance of all operational procedures, standards and goals. This role is accountable for overseeing a section of the kitchen to ensure that the overall operation runs smoothly and effectively.

About the Role:

  • Relevant experience in a similar position, ideally in a 5 star Hotel or fine dining large restaurant.

  • Strong understanding of a variety of cuisines with a passion to learn more.

  • Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP

  • Ability to maintain high and consistent standards

  • Strong leadership and delegation skills

  • Ability to work as a part of a team environment & excellent communication skills

  • Comfortable working independently, and in a team
