The Role

Based on Rottnest Island, Western Australia's most popular island experience, we are looking for an experienced Painter to join our team in a full-time capacity.

Join a progressive and integrated island services team providing operational, logistical and technical support to the Rottnest Island Authority in the delivery of maintenance, renovation and some Heritage works.

Applicants should possess a 'can-do' attitude, great work ethic, be physically resilient, demonstrate honesty and integrity and be professionally presented.

Skills and Experience

  • Trade certificate
  • Residential experience (Heritage an advantage)
  • Paint mixing and product suitability experience
  • C class driver's licence and White Card
  • Police Clearance
  • EWP licence & Working at Heights (preferred but not essential)
  • Right to Work in Australia
  • A strong commitment to and understanding of HSE procedures and standards

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, can work independently, and in a team. This is a commuting position from Fremantle with ferry travel provided.
