About the Role

Our Workplace Architect is a new key role that is responsible for the Workplace domain including strategies, operational readiness, partner management, roadmaps, technology recommendations and options to evolve and/or migrate solutions to BOQ's desired target state service platform.

This is a critical role key to the success of our workplace modernisation and involves partnering with BoQ Technology, Business Units, Partners and Service Providers to develop the Workplace platform supporting business requirements & objectives. This role will work across BAU and Strategic Transformation Programs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Transform the BOQ Workplace Domain to a modern, reliable, effective & efficient service portfolio that leverages a combination of cloud & partner delivered services
  • Advocate for the consumers of the service
  • Improve the user experience and implement experience KPI's, monitoring & dashboards
  • Drive the evolution, economics and adoption of the portfolio as the 'Workplace Product Owner'.
  • Work with our partners to ensure strong, integrated and consistent technologies are adopted, delivered and appropriately managed
  • Create Workplace portfolio roadmaps, plans and target architectures
  • Recommend approaches to solve technical challenges
  • Escalate issues to technology governance forums where required
  • Facilitate endorsement of designs via technical governance forums
  • Provide strong technical direction based on your experience

About You

With demonstrated knowledge of Workplace platforms including O365, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, Windows 10, SCCM, Application Packaging, Citrix (XenApp & VDI), Remote access technologies, Mobility services and Azure Cloud you will have solid knowledge of critical application delivery to remote locations such as bank branches. You will have strong knowledge of workplace RUN (Operational Services) with experience in delivering large scale complex transformation initiatives including Office 365 & Modern Desktop Services.

Having previously worked in an Australian Financial Services Regulatory environment you will have strong communication skills coupled with technology business acumen, you lead by example and enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships both within BoQ and with external partners.
