The role of Senior Infrastructure Engineer (End User Compute) will see you providing guidance as an SME on the design, delivery and maintenance of End User Computing (EUC) solutions that meet Toyota Finance Australia project and operational requirements. In this role, you will provide technical guidance in the EUC environment across the IT Infrastructure Engineering Team in alignment with Enterprise Architecture and Information Security requirements.

Your usual day in the office will include:

  • Create, maintain, support and evolve the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) in terms of End User Compute
  • Conduct EUC architectural/design discussions
  • Perform technical discovery, needs gathering, and requirement analysis for Hardware, Software and Cloud Based EUC solutions
  • Provide technical direction to project teams and IT Operations teams regarding EUC solutions
  • Deliver high quality and efficient EUC solutions within agreed time frames
  • Liaise with the Application and/or Test Teams to assist with defect resolution where required
  • Ensure TFA EUC solutions follow industry best practice and provide TFA with right sized solutions
  • Review, approve and maintain Hardware, Software and Cloud Based EUC designs and governance documentation
  • Resolve escalated EUC incidents and requests through to resolution and meet SLA’s
  • Manage and operate EUC related Infrastructure toolsets/software (eg. SCCM, Packaging utilities)
  • Provide Infrastructure SME support to projects where required
  • Develop, implement and maintain preventative maintenance plans for EUC
  • Provide guidance and act as a point of escalation for team members

You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in System administration in a medium-to-large enterprise environment
  • Ability to work in a team with a shared workload
  • Knowledge on updated infrastructure EUC technologies and trends within the industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Windows Desktop operating systems and Security
  • Experience in SOE design and support
  • Knowledge and experience in technologies such as Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix, Anti-virus, Storage Systems, Office 365 and Cloud
  • Understanding and experience on Network/LAN/WAN technologies & EUC Hardware
  • Working knowledge of ITIL and IVR/Softphone will be an advantage
