We are looking for a talented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Enterprise Technology team, based in Wellington

The Enterprise Technology group works across the business to support people and methods, and improve our technology and strategic capability. We work within the wider Technology portfolio to be one of the most sustainably excellent software engineering companies in the world.

As a group, we provide the technical capabilities needed to support the key product and company strategic initiatives. We act as a trusted consultant and advisor for improving, evolving and building new platforms and solutions that support Xero across multiple business units, markets and territories.

What you’ll do:

  • Be an active contributor in a cross-functional team, working alongside Product Owners and Developers and Stakeholders to deliver tested and reliable software.
  • Be a quality champion - share your knowledge, lead and coach others in analysis, testing and quality practices so your team is effective at building quality in early
  • Contribute to functional testing over multiple layers of the system
  • You’ll be a self motivated, quick starter - able to grasp the project quickly and identify work independently
  • Be part of the cross-functional growth of the team, taking on technical tasks where possible and contributing to the automated regression suite in accordance with your skill-set.
  • What you'll bring:

  • You will already have 3+ years of relevant experience i.e. A functional/Manual Test Analyst at an intermediate-senior level
  • Salesforce experience
  • Additional technical experience including AWS, Git, VB, Team City and Postman.
  • Bring some experience and enthusiasm to the technical aspects of the role.
  • Experience using Jira/Confluence
  • You will be a self starter
  • An understanding of cloud based software and web services
  • Strong analysis and quality facilitation skills
  • Strong Agile and delivery process skills
  • The ability to lead and coach others
  • You'll have a pragmatic approach and be able to see the big picture.
  • A willingness to be an active, self-motivated, positive member of a highly collaborative and cross-functional agile team
