We are recruiting Line Coaches for Rail Operations in Western Australia. The team will be comprised of both Fly In Fly Out and Residential team members.
Reporting to the BHP Operating System (BOS) Site Coach, Your focus is to provide both initial and ongoing coaching to Managers, Superintendents, Supervisors and Line Engineers in the application of BOS tools and methods, and work to embed the new way of working.
You will utilise innovative approaches, tools and technology to add real value to our assets – setting new standards to guide improvement activity, elevating and supporting our people. You will gain insight and training in the BOS methodology and will be expected to upskill others through your work.
Other core accountabilities:
- BOS tools and methods embedded in focus areas / activities
- Report on progress and value delivered in areas / activities
- Behavioural changes embedded among operational leadership
- Capability transfer to Line Engineers; and
- Changes to area / activity deployment plans
We are looking for individuals that possess business knowledge, demonstrate excellence in leadership on a day-to-day basis, who are innovative with a bias to action, effectively influence others and have a strong ability to build capability in others and lead change.
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following:
- Ability to understand and manipulate data processing systems
- Ability to engage with all levels of the business from frontline employees to higher level management
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence outcomes
- Onsite Mining Industry experience
- Experience with CI methodologies is desirable
- Experience coaching operational leadership is desirable.
We are looking for individuals that possess business knowledge, demonstrate excellence in leadership on a day-to-day basis, who are innovative with a bias to action, effectively influence others and have a strong ability to build capability in others and lead change. Although it is desirable that you already have CI experience, you will receive full BOS Immersion training to support your role and ongoing mentoring and guidance from experienced Coaches to ensure your success.
