We are seeking a motivated highly organised individual to develop and maintain weekly and maintenance plans for Dump Stations, Stacker Reclaimers, Shiploaders and Ancillary Equipment.
Reporting to the Superintendent Planning & Asset Health, this role provides clearly structured plans and deliverables for execution teams to follow.
The successful candidate will carry out a variety of planning activities including arranging resources and material requirements, and working with maintenance execution teams to ensure optimised work plans are implemented during maintenance activities.
This role is a 12 months fixed term role based in Mackay at the Hay Point Coal Terminal working Monday to Friday dayshift roster.
In this role you will:
Ensure maintenance activities are planned for with a high level of effectiveness from within our world class Maintenance & Engineering Centre of Excellence:
Success in the role is enabled through leveraging Work Management Processes and Systems to embed standard work in a repeatable way, facilitating a transparent, visible and detailed rolling 12 week plan, integrating Planning with Production to deliver an integrated plan.
The Work Management Planner is a critical contributor to successful delivery of sustainable performance for the business, providing a data driven baseline from which to execute, analyse and improve.
Focus on continuous improvement, and will present innovative ideas and be willing to go the extra mile and be enthusiastic about service delivery and passionate about delivering extraordinary results whilst provide assistance across multiple areas of the planning team.
As a Work Management Planner, people and communication skills are of the upmost importance as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will require fundamental understanding of Asset Health across a range of Equipment and maintenance planning experience is desirable.
The nature of the role requires you to be a forward thinker and focused on process discipline. A background in participation in a high performing teams with a strong safety focus will be critical to the success of this position.
The following qualifications and skillsets are desirable for success in the role:
- Experience with SAP/ CMMS or similar maintenance planning software;
- Experience with Microsoft office software and exposure to Master Data & Continuous Improvement.
- Knowledge of Planning and Scheduling processes and/or logistics and coordination.
- Awareness of Cost Management and Forecasting Processes
- Ability to draw inferences from multiple data sources, to draw into a single deliverable
- Structured work approach - values and works to routine
- System and process orientated - demonstrated experience in delivering through using standardised systems and processes.
