About the Role

The work is exciting, fast-paced, and varied. As an integral member of multiple dynamic teams, you will support and consult, both inside and outside of the Business. Your abilities and experience will be expanded as the Business seeks ways to shape you as an engineer and develop you as a leader. There is significant exposure to regulatory frameworks and standards, complemented with lean development principles, model-based design, and a systems engineering approach. The Business will financially reward you for setting and accomplishing professional development and project quality goals. The role will suit those who are client-focused, have a can-do attitude, and value a team-oriented approach to development.

About You!

To be Successful in this Role You Will

  • Have the highest level of integrity and pride in both yourself and your work
  • Value communication and collaboration with your colleagues and clients
  • Be self-motivated and entrepreneurial
  • Have ~6 years’ experience in PCB design and layout (experience using Altium Designer is favourable)
  • Have significant exposure to requirements capture and management, development to standards, and testing and verification (including EMC & Safety)
  • Have a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Computer Systems, or a related discipline and full working rights in Australia

The Following Skills are Highly Favourable

  • Desire to share knowledge and mentor others
  • Experience working in a consulting or product development environment
  • Planning and estimation of electronics-based programs of work
  • Highspeed design / RF / Power supply design
  • Design for Manufacture (DFM) / Design for Test (DFT)

Where You’ll Be

  • Work remotely/from home, complemented by access to Exa's Richmond office
  • Standard working hours of 09.00 - 17.00 with flexible options i.e. 08:00 - 16:00
  • Some travel in Australia and overseas as projects require (post-COVID-19)
