Amazon Web Services Australia/New Zealand is seeking a multi-faceted, and experienced marketing professional to drive awareness and demand of AWS services and solutions within Independent Software Vendors (ISVs); and to support the growth of the AWS community partnering with local ISVs.
The ideal candidate will have both direct and channel experience, be able to build a strategy of bold and innovate growth ideas, and tactically manage and execute campaigns and programs working closely with field and partner sales. The ideal candidate must also have proven analytical skills and experience building a demand pipeline in Australia/New Zealand. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting and market-leading technology business.


We are looking for an experienced manager who can help develop a powerful point of view in this segment with the following roles and responsibilities:
  • Develop a 12-18 month marketing strategy that is aligned with customer need, sales and marketing objectives to educate and create pipeline within independent software vendors.
  • Generate messaging and source or create content that articulates how AWS helps a wide range of decision makers and influencers within ISVs
  • Work jointly with members of the AWS Partner Network community to prepare marketing campaigns and programs utilised by local ISV partners in marketing to their prospective customer base, resulting in more revenue and sales pipeline
  • Foster community and industry partnerships that reinforce AWS commitment to the segment
  • Partner with Global Campaigns, Partner Marketing, Service teams and PR teams to build marketing programs that span offline and online channels
  • Execute programs with precision to increase customer demand, revenue pipeline, and positively impact Amazon Web Services brand equity

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience in a technology environment directly supporting sales teams such as Field Marketing, Alliance Marketing, or Partner Marketing
  • Knowledge of the Australia/New Zealand market with at least 2 years of experience developing partner-facing programs and communications.
  • Strong experience in managing multiple partners of varied sizes to build marketing programs to drive common outcomes and achieve internal goals
  • Solid understanding of lead management and sales funnel management
