About the role
Laing O’Rourke is recruiting an Engineering Lead to join our growing business in Melbourne. With an exciting pipeline of major infrastructure projects, it’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of a great team and culture.
You will be responsible for the leadership of all technical aspects of projects in the sector (design, engineering delivery, digital engineering and quality) ensuring we deliver value and technical certainty that exceeds our client expectations.
The role is suited to an engineering leader with strong project management skills with a technical bent that understands the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of works in a construction environment.
You will be degree qualified in a technical base subject, complimented with a professional chartership from a recognised professional institution. A masters qualifications providing a technical or leadership extension to base degree is preferred
Demonstrated collaborative working with clients, across business units and with our delivery partners (JV’s, sub-contractors, consultants) sharing knowledge.
