The Manual Bespoke Process & Manual Touch Point team run initiatives for client optimization and operating model transformation. The team partners with Operations, Product and client-facing teams to eliminate manual effort within the operational processes to enable faster, repeatable low touch processes. This includes influencing the client to change behavior, changing processes and identifying system changes. The team is accountable to the APAC Securities Services Operations Program Manager for delivering this work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead key data analytics initiative to drive improvements to operating model and reduction of manual operations effort
  • Bring thought leadership to operations data journey and be sought out as a trusted subject matter expert
  • Champion continuous improvement and build out the data mindset capability within operations
  • Assist operations to manage large data sets to extract, analyse, & prioritise themes for operational efficiency initiatives
  • Build strong Tableau dashboards that present compelling data stories and provide actionable insights to drive change
  • Attend meetings with UK project team to ensure local issues resolved timely and partner on continuous improvement and work with operational resources in multiple locations across different time zones in APAC and

To be successful you will need:

  • At least 10 years global financial industry experience within top tier investment management or financial services firm
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience using data & analytics to identify operational opportunities, present insights & track solution implementation
  • Exceptional problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities with experience providing thought leadership on data
  • Experience designing dashboards to gain insights and enable decision making - Tableau experience preferred
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior executives
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple in-flight projects and deliver within a dynamic environment combined with understanding of operational processes within banking
