Global Business Operations (GBO) is a diverse team that supports infrastructure and other foundational initiatives that span and support Sales, Marketing and Support teams within AWS.

The AWS RI Operations Team is in need of a driven, analytical, and process oriented Operations Analyst to own the creation and processing of EC2 Reserved Instance purchases and migrations. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who is excited to escalate systemic issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and has a passion for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process EC2 Reserved Instance purchases, modifications, and cancellations
  • Vocally self-critical to allow for self-correction of errors
  • Communicate effectively across all related channels to ensure transparency of process
  • Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Salesforce.com, and other data management/BI systems
  • Support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience with quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skill
