Practical Legal Training (PLT) Placement

The Nearmap in-house legal team is currently recruiting for Law Graduates looking to complete their Practical Legal Training (PLT) to work at our Sydney office on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for PLT students to experience what it is like to work in-house for a growing global ASX200 technology company, headquartered in Sydney, Australia.

As a PLT student, you will be working in an open and supportive environment, together with the in-house legal team and have exposure to a different types of laws and regulations. You will have the opportunity to carry out legal research on various matters relevant to the company’s global operations, work on commercial and supplier contracts, interact with stakeholders across multiple departments, and carry out various other administrative and legal tasks. You may also be exposed to legal matters across borders.

This PLT placement is unpaid and will require the successful candidate to work 2-3 days per week ideally.
