This is a full time permanent position starting in March 2021, based in Sydney.


Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Graduate Technical Support Specialist, you will:
  • Be the face of customer support and key to our customer's success
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Provide remote support of IBM software, hardware and solutions, including IBM's legacy databases and RedHat technology
  • Be mentored by senior technical team members
What skills and attributes do I need to be successful in this role?
  • At IBM we are interested in candidates who have a passion for technology and come from one of the following degrees: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, other degrees with a technical focus.
  • Operating system and/or Linux knowledge is highly desirable, as is Python and C++
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as working independently when required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
