As a Control Systems Engineer you will be joining our friendly and dynamic Perth team. In your new role you will;

  • Ensure all electrical and instrumentation engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements, company policies and practices
  • preparing preliminary and detailed designs of electrical and instrumentation engineering projects and ensuring project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works
  • Ensure all electrical and instrumentation engineering project work is completed on time and within budget
  • Prepare documentation for standards, procedures, safe working practices and monitoring regimes in respect of work on or around electrical and instrumentation engineering
  • Liaise with other department engineers and draftspersons to ensure electrical and instrumentation project goals are met


To be successful in this position, you will have the following experience and qualifications;

  • An Engineering degree i.e. Electrical/Electronic, Controls Systems or Mechatronic
  • Ideally 2 years experience working with mining control systems including demonstrated use of related processes and procedures
  • Competent with Schneider Unity and CitectSCADA software development
  • Familiar with PLC software development i.e. ladder logic and FBD, preferably RS Logix, ProWorx & Unity
  • Mining or water background and process knowledge advantageous
  • Ability to quickly define problems and draw valid conclusions
  • High attention to detail and understands the bigger picture
  • A proactive nature and the ability to work as part of a team
