With our current forward workload, we are now looking for you to join us as a Charge Hand in Hastings. This is the perfect development opportunity with the target of coaching and training you to have the ability to step up to a Foreperson position.

About the role:

This is a varied role where no two days will be the same. You’ll be working alongside our crew carrying out a full range of maintenance works from pavements repairs, minor concrete work, footpath replacement and so much more.

About you:

Along with your positive attitude and your ability to demonstrate initiative there are a few essentials to what we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working in a field based maintenance role
  • Class 2 full New Zealand Drivers licence essential
  • High standard of workmanship with a strong focus on health and safety
  • Team leadership skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to build rapport with your crew and the public.
