About the team
The Corporate Services division supports the organisation with expert advice and support in Governance, Risk & Compliance, Financial, IT, Strategic, Legal, Commercial, Property and Procurement matters. We partner to provide sustainable strategies, solutions and services, enabling our clients to deliver Transport's vision of making NSW a great place to live, work and play.
Right now, we have a fixed term opportunity for an Enterprise Compliance Manager to join our Governance, Risk & Compliance team until 30 June 2021. This role is responsible for developing a framework and providing expert advice, support and guidance to Transport’s Divisional management teams on accountabilities, processes and practices to ensure compliance with key legal, regulatory and other compliance obligations.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand needs for framework, guides and tools
- Develop solutions to meet executive and governing committee needs
- Analyse information to develop thematic compliance insights across Transport
- Respond to business requests and provide advice on good practice compliance management and ways of working
- Develop and implement a framework, guides and tools and consider training needs.

You are an outcomes-focused, self-driven and pragmatic individual with proven experience in Compliance or Risk & Audit. You also demonstrate thorough knowledge and experience of GRC frameworks, tools, systems and best practice.
You are highly capable when it comes to managing stakeholders with the ability to engage with and also adapt your style to suit a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, to demonstrate value and influence cultural change. Strong analytical skills and objectivity is essential as there is a need to provide evidence based proposals to executives and governing committees.
You possess a strategic and growth mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture, identify patterns and connect the dots. You demonstrate a high level of initiative and resilience and you thrive in a collaborative, complex and ever changing environment. Experience working in an environment where you built the foundations and influenced strategic change is highly beneficial.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is USS 11 ($142,300) – ($151,837) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
