As a Lead Product Engineer for Hosting within the Stores Infrastructure Engineering (SIE) team, you will be primarily responsible for strategy and management of our critical endpoints across all trading business units as well as assist in the teams day to day engineering operations. Being in the midst of major techcological and environmental change, we need someone who can provide technical leadership though DevOps transofrmation and AI/ML initiatives.

Design and implement solutions in over 3,000 trading sites across Australia and New Zealand for Australia’s top retailer. With nearly 3,000 trading sites and 50,000 endpoints across Australia and New Zealand for Australia’s top retailer, this is a unique opportunity to make massive change, influencing industry trends and practises.

To be successful in this role, you will have an eye for detail and can adapt your skills to an infrastructure environment to improve agility and transform the way we work. You are a true leader with the ability to articulate business benefit from technical decisions keeping customer experience always in front of mind. Proven experience within engineering, development, and/or design along with a working knowledge of complex workstation SOE, packaging methodologies, payment and POS at scale will be highly regarded.
