About the opportunity
We are seeking applications from professional leaders for the role of Equipment Care Group Leader at our
Wagerup Alumina Refinery This is a permanent opportunity working a 19-day month in Op Centre 1 (Digestion).
In this leadership role your passion to mentor others to reach their full potential will be highly regarded. You will develop and uphold very high standards of process/maintenance practices and guide the team to achieve its goals in all areas of the business! Acting as a help chain to the team, with your ability to problem solve process and team issues you will also be responsible for
- Implementing and sustaining business system improvements
- Assisting team members implement suggestion scheme ideas, and the auditing of standardised work practices.
You will enjoy meeting challenges and working with a diverse group to develop and implement strategies across our workgroups.
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Demonstrated experience working within the Bayer process as well as a strong dedication to safety.
Working within refining especially digestion will be highly regarded.
Highly developed team leadership and interpersonal skills.
Experience in implementing and leading change initiatives.
Plenty of initiative and self-motivation
Ability and experience in working autonomously
Strong operations background and previous leadership experience.
