Come and join us at Xero! We are looking for a Development Manager for a fixed term maternity cover to join our distributed Subscription and Billing team in Auckland, Wellington, or NZ remote.
Who’s the team?
The Subscription & Billing domain is made up of three pillars -- Revenue for invoicing and payments, Experience for subscription management tailored to external subscribers and internal customer support team, and Growth for entering new markets with localised experiences and expanding existing markets with diversified products.
Each pillar contains one or two cross-functional pods with a business analyst, engineers, and quality assurance staff. There is a leadership triad in each pillar that includes the Product Owner, Lead Engineer, and People Lead.
What’s the role?
As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for the People Leads and Lead Engineers who work across the three pillars of the Subscription & Billing domain. As a leader of leaders, you’ll foster a positive team culture and provide direction for technical practices and standards. Your job is to build a cohesive thought-leading engineering community that rapidly delivers value to our customers and continually improves. By doing so you’ll contribute to Xero achieving its goals.
