1)Project management and change management

  • Implement regional and global talent projects/ initiatives that support the delivery of our broader Talent agenda beyond specific functions (e.g. recurring programs such as Global People Survey and other Listening surveys)
  • Manage and execute the Workforce Planning deployment project across FSO, working with talent consultants, finance and operations. Proactively manage risks and issues in relation to stakeholder management or change management
  • For any change programme required within the region (e.g. creating efficiencies between functions, cross-functional engagement initiatives) lead, and/or contribute to the change management approach and be a change agent

2)GDS and HR Shared Services delivery oversight

  • Act as a “steward” for HR processes and activities delivered by GDS and hosted entity HR services teams, enabling alignment of expectations between Region team, GDS team and hosted entity HR services
  • Meet regularly with GDS Manager and hosted entity HR service lead to provide feedback, discuss quality and timeliness of service execution, escalate operational issues and drive collaboration
  • Own maintenance and timely update of knowledge base (Shared Drive, Share Point) to enable effective service delivery (as appropriate)

3)Recruitment and onboarding oversight

  • Ensure adequate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and regular checks in place for quality service delivery in each market
  • Oversee the many aspects of recruitment operations (examples include management of FSO agency negotiate rates, search approvals and other EY/FSO recruitment policies - approvals/client recruitment protocols etc.
  • Oversee candidate experience measures from the candidate experience questionnaire and onboarding surveys
  • Be the point of contact for the region regarding recruitment related escalation and resolve issues with relevant parties
  • Engage with business, Talent functions and Talent Consultants to understand regional onboarding needs and develop adequate onboarding program materials to drive an exceptional onboarding experience in the regional context

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Strong team, leadership and people management capabilities
  • Strong project management skills, able to coordinate multiple projects/ initiatives simultaneously and meet demanding time frames
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Ability to seek and set direction, strong influencing and change management skills, acts as a change agent
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex business problems, develop a logical / rational framework for investigating the problems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a matrix-based organisation at all levels
  • Strong client focus with the ability to build good relationships and work virtually/ across borders
  • Maintain a strong understanding of key business and financial drivers that determine EY’s success
  • An understanding of digital technology’s impact and the opportunities it creates


  • Significant experience of working in HR operations, organizational effectiveness or a similar function required
  • Knowledge of HR systems, basic HR measurement and process improvement preferred
  • Experience in metrics reporting and analysis preferred
