About the role
Laing O'Rourke is recruiting a Senior Administrator for one of our most iconic high-profile infrastructure projects in Sydney’s CBD – building Sydney Metro at Central Station.
Laing O’Rourke is delivering:
- The new Sydney Metro platforms at Australia’s busiest train station
- The landmark Central Walk – a new underground pedestrian concourse
- A new entrance to the station on Chalmers Street, Surry Hills
- A new Northern Concourse
You will be responsible for site administration consisting of managing the weekly payroll processes in accordance with the relevant project specific enterprise bargaining agreements, managing ‘procure to pay’ processing and ensuring that high-level, adequate and effective administration support is provided to the wider project team whilst at all times adhering to Laing O'Rourke's safety policies & procedures.
Ideally you will have 3 years’ or more experience in administration within the construction industry, with intermediate or higher skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel and Word. You will have strong attention to detail, the ability to manage your own time, a team-centred attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Experience in COINS or a similar procurement / accounting system would be highly regarded but not essential.
