Senior Compliance Specialist, Advice Services

Last updated 22 days ago
Location:Melbourne

As our Senior Compliance Specialist at Cbus, you’ll work within our Advice & Retirement services team - ensuring the ongoing compliance of personal advice provided to Cbus members nationwide. You’ll provide advice and guidance regarding the interpretation of regulations and develop and maintain compliance policies, processes and tools - work closely with our national team of advisers, Team Leaders, other specialists within the advice team and of course, with compliance business partners.

Day-to-day this looks like conducting file reviews of Superannuation Advisers and ad-hoc reviews of our comprehensive advice partners. You will monitor and report on individual and team compliance outcomes and identify and escalate any comprehensive advice issues to a formal review process.

We’re looking for that special someone who has strong knowledge of financial advice and its regulatory framework, with prior experience in a compliance or file review capacity. You’ve got sound knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues, with the ability to provide sound interpretation and guidance. Your communication and interpersonal skills can adapt to your stakeholders whether it’s presenting at a meeting to senior stakeholders or facilitating feedback sessions and providing compliance support to advisers.

Why Cbus?
You can be part of an award-winning organisation that is genuinely committed to delivering workplace diversity, inclusion and flexible working arrangements as an enabler of our purpose - to act in the best interest of our members and maximise their retirement outcomes.
