Do you have a passion for working with Complex Australian Media Enterprises?

For this role we're looking for someone able to demonstrate a strong network of contacts within the Media vertical and the ability to utilise these to develop and execute complex customer engagements.

You should be comfortable driving an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects.

You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

You should have the ability to leverage talent around you and manage virtual teams to develop transformative customer outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Accelerate Brand penetration in the Media marketplace.
  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical.
  • Develop solutions that delight customers.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline & reporting.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Posses the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
  • Develop case studies.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Expect moderate travel.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid experience in technology related sales or business development.
  • Direct field experience in working with top enterprise accounts across an assigned territory.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Extensive customer & contact network.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A technical background in engineering, computer science/MIS or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Sales experience with virtualization/infrastructure solutions a bonus.
