As the Enterprise Skills Transformation Lead for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) you will have the opportunity to define, position and agree the organizational enablement and skills transformation strategy for some of our largest and most complex customers across the region. You will take ownership regionally for one of our flagship programs that aims to drive true transformation within our complex customers and enables them to build a future-ready workforce. Working across Training & Certification, Public Sector and Commercial Sales and Business Development you will have the opportunity to travel across the region collaborating, consulting and influencing a broad base of customers.
The successful candidate will hold a solid understanding of enterprise enablement/transformation needs, sales cycles, field enablement in a large organization, organizational transformation, sales and marketing dynamics and change management. You will need strong analytical acumen, synthesis, structuring, and problem solving skills to translate ambiguous and often incomplete information into action plans and insights. You will have a history of selling and partnering in a consultative manner and the ability to influence stakeholders through all levels of a customer’s organization from the c-suite downwards. The ideal candidate will be required to work with and influence across multiple cross functional teams in dynamic organizations as you will be required to significantly collaborate to achieve outcomes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Evangelise AWS Training and Certification enablement programs at company and industry events
  • Drive awareness of Enterprise enablement programs across the AWS commercial organization, refining the go to market strategy, defining and driving internal and external marketing and communications campaign
  • Identification of localization requirements based on market trends and customer diversity in the region. Collaborating with global stakeholders to iterate the Enterprise enablement vision and strategy, insuring that APJ customer requirements are always represented at a global level
  • Serve as a liaison for the team towards internal stakeholders and assist internal partners to drive change, remove roadblocks and close strategic business.
  • Identify and drive alongside our customer’s, programs that drive true organizational skills transformation as well as enablement strategies to foster a collaborative environment of innovation.
  • Build scaling mechanisms for proposals and plans to accelerate adoption of AWS Services
  • Translate business needs into a sales productivity and readiness plan for AWS Training and Certification enterprise enablement programs.
  • Own outcomes for # AWS Training and Certification programs deployed with enterprise customers in APJ.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 8-10+ years of sales, sales enablement or organizational technology transformation experience in large complex organizations, with increasing influence and responsibility.
  • Experience creating and refining go to market strategies
  • Effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to influence and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams from the c-suite downwards
  • A demonstrated passion for driving transformation within a customer’s organization
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of senior level consulting
  • Knowledge of cloud services
  • Prior experience building large scale Enterprise training programs
  • 2-5+ years in an APJ wide senior manager/leadership position
• History of driving growth and transformation or change programs across the APJ region, including an ability to identify local market needs and collaborate with global teams to deliver the right outcomes for your customers.
