High level customer satisfaction is a key measure, as are revenue/consumption targets.

The best Account Executives are resourceful leaders of virtual teams, and curious to listen and learn from their customers. These attributes allow them to advise confidently and elevate their customer’s business.
This role will support a strategic Financial Institution in the Australian Financial Services team.
Leadership Plan and present clear vision of customer success
Working with your v-team you will be skilled at building and owning a customer plan that demonstrates critical insight and highlights new business opportunities for both Microsoft and the customer. It is key that this plan be a living document that clearly lays out a vision for success that challenges convention but sits comfortably with the ambitions.
You will be skilled at building lasting relationships both inside the company and inside your customer. To do this you will care deeply about the people you work with and their success. Our best people have a passion for learning and treasure diverse perspectives and work hard to integrate their learning and others perspectives into our customer value proposition
Building alliances is the key to success at Microsoft and our most successful Account Executives are keen collaborators that help stakeholders across the business understand their customer journey and how Microsoft are best able to support their Digital Transformation. Leading the team on one of our most important customer relationships you will have an opportunity develop a network across the breadth of Microsoft and will sit comfortably telling the story of your customer to stakeholders both here in the Australia and in our Business Groups in Redmond.
Being a leader in our Financial Services team, you will bring your own perspective and will help add to the depth of understanding around customer and Industry, and where you don’t know something you will be energetic in looking to leverage the knowledge of others.

- We are looking for a sales professional with a wealth of experience selling enterprise grade strategic technology or business outcomes and some knowledge of the Financial Services sector
- Credibility is a key attribute as you will regularly sit with CEO’s and other customer executives to advise and challenge.
Experience to lead multi-cultural, diverse and remote teams across different disciplines
- Proven ability to understand customer needs, create and deliver customized, customer-focused pitches and solutions
- Effectively navigate through ambiguity and complexities related to client management
- A Bachelor’s degree is important and a focus on business or technology would be helpful.
Due to current travel and work permit restrictions we require candidates to either be in Australia with existing work permit, Perm Residency or Citizenship
