The role:

In this role you will provide analytical and technical support to both internal and external clients across a broad range of system and process improvement initiatives covering all aspects of Superannuation administration and management.

You will assist with configuration, scripting, testing and documentation for Superannuation administration systems. This particular role is focused on Business Process Management (BPM) and Client Relationship Management (CRM) solutions. A BPM/CRM consultant is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancements to the existing solution, from inception to deployment to allow our clients to meet their business requirements.

A large part of this role is client-facing, and good communications skills are therefore mandatory. The system you will maintain uses a Java-like proprietary language. The role includes dealing with clients’, development in this language and writing straight SQL queries, and dealing with Java/JSP-related issues. You will work as an integral part of creative and motivated teams to ensure high quality benchmarks are met.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide superannuation and technology subject matter expertise when required

  • Consult with internal and client stakeholders across the full software development/project lifecycle

  • Work closely with clients to identify areas of process improvement and best practice

  • Ensure all client deliveries and interactions adhere to the highest quality standards

  • Requirements gathering and Solution/system design

  • System configuration

  • Integration specification

  • Quality assurance and Technical and user documentation

What you will need:

  • Between 3 – 5 years of programming experience in either Java and/or any of the .NET languages

  • Exposure to Web development and scripting

  • Relational database design and development experience with a SQL Server technology

  • Ability to troubleshoot in a Windows environment

  • Full SDLC exposure

  • Ability to understand and translate user requirements into software solution

  • Ability to read and understand source codes

  • Software release and change management
