W23 is Woolworths’ venture capital arm, and plays a critical role in ensuring Woolworths has access to disruptive innovation. We invest in startups that accelerate delivery of our ecosystem strategy and where Woolworths’ assets lend an inherent advantage. We are a small, agile and autonomous team of specialists able to move at startup speed.
What you’ll do
As the W23 Content & Communications Manager you will be critical to ensure W23 builds and maintains strong internal and external engagement programs covering business reporting and communications.. Based in our Sydney office, this role will work across group locations to:
- Develop and execute W23 internal comms and engagement strategy increasing internal awareness of W23, its investments / incubations and highlight performance
- Coordinate, create and deliver 6-monthly and annual Portfolio Performance content and update materials for use with IC and relevant senior stakeholders
- Develop, maintain and execute a compelling market-facing communications and engagement programs for all prospective start ups who are considering partnerships with Woolworths and W23, as well as the 500+ start-ups in W23’s pipeline
- Plan, coordinate and host networking events for W23 investments and incubations to facilitate cross-synergies

As our successful candidate, you have proven experience in a similar role where you have been hands-on in leading and executing the internal communications and content strategy. You are self-motivated, responsive, flexible and able to work independently while managing multiple pieces of work simultaneously. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills are essential.
