An exciting opportunity is available for a general Facility and Assets Maintenance Person to commence with WesTrac.

Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, this role will be responsible for undertaking repairs and maintenance work required for fixed plant & buildings across WesTrac Metropolitan sites. The ideal person will take pride in their work, working with a team and be accountable for maintenance work undertaken within the facilities in a given timely manner. Working Mon – Fri, 8 hours each day based at South Guildford.

To be successful the following is required:

  • Trade Qualification – Construction or Mining related (Electrical / with contractor’s licence is desirable)
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position with demonstrated ability to undertake various repairs and maintenance tasks and knowledge of building plans & specifications
  • Ability to risk assess situations and use appropriate judgement to safely undertake tasks
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
  • Ability to determine work priorities and direct the work of others
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
  • C-Class Driver’s license
  • Elevated Work Platform (Desirable not essential)
  • Confined Space Entry (Desirable not essential)
  • Forklift Ticket (Desirable not essential)
