Your new team

The Analytics, Insights and Measurements team extensively apply their technical capabilities to play a key part in deciding on and developing the strategy and platforms which determine how the organisation operates into the future. You will be working with inclusive leaders and peers who are focused on delivering on our values based, members first purpose. Your new role

The Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the success of the fund through deep member insight and analytics. Partnering with the stakeholders across the fund, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for scoping, designing, implementing and presenting strategic and fund critical analytics, models, strategic frameworks and data driven insights for AustralianSuper.

You will need to use different aspects of analysis and analytics in order to provide the fund with insights, to direct activities and measure success. To achieve this, the role requires a deep understanding of data exploration and analysis. The primary focus will be on the delivery of strategic targets through identification of actionable insights.

Your proven experience in improving acquisition, retention and transition outcomes using statistical methods, including propensity modelling and segmentation along with experience in using analytical and visualization tools including R, SQL and Tableau will be critical to your success.

You'll need

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and research skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven experience in improving acquisition, retention and transition outcomes using statistical methods, including propensity modelling and segmentation
  • Deep experience in using analytical and visualization tools including R, SQL and Tableau
  • High levels of initiative with the ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities
  • Experience in developing technical and business dashboards and the development of insights based on dashboard data usage and other data trends
