With us you will thrive in a collaborative environment where new ideas and knowledge sharing are encouraged, and where you’ll be supported through opportunities to develop and achieve your full potential.

This is an exciting time in the energy industry with the transition to renewable energy. Recent government policies outline plans to facilitate increasing transmission interconnection between states and development of renewable energy zones.

  • Work closely with the broader Strategy, Innovation and Technology team as well as other TransGrid teams to ensure the reform initiatives are holistically developed
  • Influence the development of policies, law, rules, and regulatory decisions affecting regulated electricity and gas network businesses generally
  • Understand the evolving external environment and be the internal SME on these issues
  • Monitor and analyse the activities carried out by industry associations associated with the economic regulation of network businesses
  • Lead the preparation of TransGrid’s submissions and review submissions prepared by industry associations on any regulatory, market or policy matters
  • Represent TransGrid to external stakeholders on regulatory and/policy matters as required
