This is a permanent position, supporting various clients in Canberra.

The successful applicant must: be an Australian citizen with NV1 Clearance or have the ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance. They must also have a valid Driver’s license. You will be provided with a yearly motor vehicle allowance and training to perform your role.

Your Role and Responsibilities
What will I be doing?
  • Perform problem determination and problem solving to resolve customer hardware and software operational situations.
  • Perform post sale maintenance and services for IBM and other vendor equipment at IBM customer locations.
  • Act as a technical interface to customers for hardware support and the delivery of operational services as required.
  • Perform services activities including systems assurance, installation team, account management, discontinuance and relocation for IBM and non-IBM systems.

What skills and experience will I need?
  • At least 1 year experience in similar onsite support position
  • Hands on hardware break-fix experience on PC laptop and x86 server platforms experience is essential
  • HP, Dell, Apple and/or Microsoft certification is desirable but not essential
