Our family of Account Technology Strategist is in effect the CTO for the customer at Microsoft and are adept at building alliances and lasting relationships with technical leaders in our most valued customers. You should be able to empathise with your customers as they embark on their own Digital Transformation journeys and will care deeply about leading them into the Digital Age.
This role is vital to Microsoft. Traditional technical sales engagement methods have evolved, and customers are more seeking consultative partnerships. Our best people care deeply and have a passion for learning both about Microsoft and our customers businesses and the communities they serve.
Armed with world class cloud solutions, your challenge is to unlock the potential of enterprise customers through insight and storytelling to demonstrate clear business value accelerating their Digital Transformation and success. High level customer satisfaction is a key measure, as are revenue/consumption targets.
The most successful Account Technology Strategists are keen on meaningful customer engagement, value diverse perspectives and can integrate a variety of views into a value proposition for our customers. These attributes allow our ATS to advise confidently and elevate their customer’s business.
You will be keenly interested in our customers business challenges and how our technologies can enable their ambitions for digital transformation. It may be that you have previous experience in financial services or a keen interest to develop a better understanding of the industry and its challenges and opportunities.
As a technology generalist collaborating with colleagues with deep technical knowledge in specific areas will be one of your key strengths. In addition, you will;
- Be the key relationship owner for the CIO/CTO/CISO in your customer base.
- Lead the translation of the customers desired business outcome into a technical architecture.
- Enable the engagement of a variety of technical subject matter experts in support of the customer objectives for transformation.
- Differentiate yourself by having or developing a strong focus on your customers industry and its specific technical challenges.
- 2+ years experience working in technical teams.
- Technical Sales Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or an allied field.
- Additional training or education in business or consultative selling is desired.
