Human Resource Services provides strategic, procedural, legislative, and administrative support and advice covering – Employee Relations, HR Business Partnering, Workforce Planning, Strategy and Transformation, Workplace Health and Safety, Remuneration and Benefits, HR Support Services, Recruitment, and HR Information Systems.
This newly created position provides strategic wellbeing, health and safety advice to the University community, in supporting a beyond zero approach to preventing incidents, injuries and illness and to comply with regulatory and University requirements.
How will you inspire us?
You will be responsible for championing the University’s new Wellbeing, Health and Safety Strategy 2020 – 2025 across all campuses and lead a team of professionals delivering a wide range of programs and initiatives to improve the University’s safety performance.
As a senior leader, you will provide strategic, innovative and accountable leadership in your portfolio to ensure the University achieves its goals and performance targets in relation to Wellbeing, Health and Safety. You will provide strategic, contemporary, evidence-based advice and support to the Chief People and Culture Officer and the University Executive team in relation to these matters.
Overseeing the development of a wellbeing program, you will provide outstanding leadership in identifying emerging health, safety and wellbeing issues, developing appropriate policies, systems and procedures and maintaining Health & Safety management systems.
Provide a clear vision and direction for portfolio team members and effectively engage with key stakeholders and internal client groups ensuring WHS responds to demands and identifies opportunities to improve the effectiveness of WHS across the University.
