You will be part of our dedicated and passionate Go-To-Market Team who are focused on nurturing and challenging our accounting partner base to help them achieve a very high level of success via their partnership with Xero and beyond.
We do this by building great relationships with our partner firms as they harness the power of the Xero platform, creating practice efficiencies and value for their clients. A large part of this journey is helping them develop their cloud strategy and building a sense of community to recruit, educate and grow the Xero Partner channel.
What we’re looking for:
Based in Christchurch, we are looking for an exceptionally high achieving Senior Account Manager who will lead a portfolio of our accounting partners inline with the vision and aspirations of Xero and the Xero values. You’ll know how to successfully drive commercial outcomes within a business and strive to understand how an accounting partner can add value via business advisory and the ecosystem. You will quickly build strong relationships and know how accounting firms operate with a passion for challenging the “norm’, although deep accounting knowledge is not required. Above all. We are looking for someone that has high levels of energy, passion, resilience and strives to outperform themself and their targets whilst being a strong team player.
A deep understanding of the Agri sector and the specific challenges that an Agri firm faces would be a huge benefit. We are passionate about improving the way rural advisors work together and engage with their farming community. We work closely with Figured and PaySauce to deliver technology into the hands of farmers. Partners are a key part of enabling our farmers to become bank ready and gear them for future success.
Here’s what you will do:
∙ Build advocacy for Xero and become a trusted advisor within the industry including professional bodies, banking partners and other stakeholders
∙ Deliver exceptional value to our accounting partners and their clients (small businesses) beyond the Xero platform and inline with their strategic priorities
∙ Project manage the conversion of a partners practice to an excellent standard that exceeds the partners expectations
∙ Drive partner channel engagement to increase the rate of Xero adoption through roadshows, partner & clients events, hosting webinars and facilitating training
∙ Advocate for growth via the Xero Ecosystem to deliver best of breed solutions to partners and their clients
∙ Work creatively and cohesively in a “pod” style environment with a mix of technical and seasoned sales people while maintaining autonomy
∙ Respond on the go to day-to-day queries from partners with timely and comprehensive solutions, whilst maintaining SalesForce with all client touch points
∙ Utilise SalesForce and gain data insights to help clearly plan your partner interaction and consistently build and update your partner growth plans.
∙ Leverage the knowledge of other teams and liaise with the Go-To-Market champions such as marketing and education
