About the team
The Product Data Centre of Excellence (PD CoE) team’s main goal is to empower Xero to deliver successful customer outcomes through actionable insights. We enable great decisions with data driven expertise, education, tooling and trusted analysis.
You will work with the CoE team to develop, own and drive the delivery of the group’s product analytics program of work. You will work closely with different stakeholders across the business to understand their requirements and help develop systems, data resources and best practice guidelines that will enable product teams to collect and access useful information so that they are better equipped to make fast and accurate data informed decisions.
What does this role involve?
As an Analytics Implementation Lead, you play an important role in helping Product teams determine what data they should collect, and help establish the means to enable them to enrich, access, interpret, and obtain clear value from data.
You will develop a deep understanding of the customer journeys and business problems for one of Xero’s product portfolios, and work with product owners, product managers, and many others in order to instrument their products - by working with the relevant teams in order to define key measures and usage events to track those measures.
You will drive stakeholder agreement and guide the business towards best practice in the scope of what data gets collected and why, what technologies can be used to access the data, and ultimately how product teams can make analytics a key part of their decision making processes. You will be the champion and go-to person for product analytics with your stakeholders, and develop a deep understanding of the tooling Xero uses in order to support understanding user behavior based on the collected data.
You will work across multiple projects and initiatives aligned to this outcome.
