WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Senior Civil Engineer based in our Perth office you will be;

  • Ensuring all civil engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practice
  • Preparing schedules for design work and allocating physical and human resources to enable civil engineering projects to be completed on time and within budget
  • Providing high level technical support for all civil project work as required
  • Supervising preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, specifications and documentation for all civil engineering project work and ensuring project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works
  • overseeing the preparation of documentation for standards, procedures, safe working practices and monitoring regimes in respect of work on or around civil engineering projects
  • Liaising with other department engineers and drafts persons to ensure project goals are me

WHO YOU ARE

You will be a driven and ambitious Engineer with a broad range of experience in roads, pavements, storm water drainage and flood management. You will be enthusiastic, friendly and have a passion to provide superior customer service to our clients.

Ideally, you will have experience in a consultancy environment as well as possessing the following;

  • Urban development (residential, commercial and industrial) experience
  • Civil infrastructure design, including drainage modelling skills
  • Local government and service authority knowledge, including familiarity with the approvals processes
  • Industry connections
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to prepare documentation for stakeholder liaison
  • Strong and clear communication style
  • Able to work self-sufficiently, proactively and practically
  • At a minimum, tertiary qualified with a Bachelor of Engineering
