Our Postpaid Product department is responsible for managing all Optus Branded products across Postpaid and Connected Devices for the Consumer segment. The AD Postpaid Product is a critical leadership role in the Product Management team with responsibility for managing the Postpaid Mobile product.

The AD Product Product will be primarily responsible for:

  • Leading the development of effective product strategies and quarterly plans for Postpaid Mobile that will achieve AOP objectives, differentiate Optus vs competitors and deliver relevant products to the market
  • Leading the analysis on key market trends and competitor activities to identify both opportunities and risks
  • Defining coherent and compelling Product plan across both Branded channels and distribution partners, across key target segments and geographies
  • Leading the design of promotional offers and pricing to address market opportunities and respond to competitive moves
  • Ensuring the product plan and promotional offers are commercially accretive
  • Managing the product P&L down to gross margin
  • Driving profit or market share maximisation appropriate to product categories
  • Ensuring that the product plans comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Leading a team of direct reports to deliver flawless execution and developing each member to their full potential


  • Post Graduate Qualifications
  • Minimum 12+ years professional experience in product management
  • Minimum 12+ years consumer telecommunications experience
  • Strong product management skills from concept to execution
  • Customer segmentation and insights experience
  • Budget management and commercial acumen
  • Business performance management and analytical skillset
  • Strong leadership
  • Ability to influence senior management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline
