See yourself being part of a large, transformational change? This could be the role for you!

Who are we

At Iress, we believe technology should help people perform better every day. Since our beginning in 1993, people across financial services have trusted us to take their performance to the next level. From the world’s most established financial brands to new and disruptive players, we help improve every aspect of our clients’ businesses so that they can work better, every day. Iress is one of Australia’s largest technology companies and employs more than 1,900 people across Australia, United Kingdom, South Africa, Canada, New Zealand and Asia.

The role

Do you have what it takes to help us design and deliver the highest quality financial software to our clients? You do? Good. Then let us tell you more.

You’ll do research. Lots of it. You’ll get up close and personal with the people that buy and use our software, bring back what they tell you, make sense of it and share your findings with the rest of the business. Then you’ll work with our global product teams to turn all that knowledge into something amazing. You’ll draw it, talk about it, and test it.

Perhaps it’s an app. Maybe its web based. You’ll lead some of these projects, helping other teams make sure their products meet the opportunities and user needs uncovered by research. You’ll get to work on lots of different things and they all need to provide magical experiences for our users.

You’ll work with senior stakeholders and help drive product strategy using evidence from today and expectations of future trends and technology. You’re a force for good and for change.

But the best thing about this job?

You’ll get to see your product being used by some of the world’s biggest financial brands and that’s a great feeling.

We build software products and apps for the financial sector, so ideally you’ll have some experience designing financial tech but if you haven’t, don’t worry. Realistically, you’ll have done lots of this sort of work before, to a very high standard and have the portfolio to prove it. If you’re still reading this, we need to talk.
