Infrastructure Projects, a division of Downer’s Australian Operations Business, continues to secure new work and build on our reputation as a market leader in delivering some of Australia’s major Transport Infrastructure projects.

As we enter a critical growth phase and transition into a major player in the sector, an excellent career opportunity is now available for 2 Site Engineers (Track or Civil/Earthworks) to work on long-term asset management contracts and large-scale construction projects in the North West of WA on 8-6 roster - FIFO from Perth.

As the Site Engineer you will play a key role in building sustainable, long-lasting public & private clients infrastructure solutions across Western Australia.

Presently we have key projects with clients in SW WA, NW WA and across Perth Metro. Our projects range in value from $100M to $1BN and are a complex blend of asset management and new build greenfield works.

This combination of works will provide you with extensive exposure to key engineering works in both Rail & Civil and the opportunity to work with skilled managers, superintendents & engineers who will help to develop your career.


  • Demonstrated capability in Civil Construction with exposure to Rail or Civil infrastructure projects (preferable but not essential);
  • Proven experience with a Tier 1 / Tier 2 civil contractor desirable working on complex projects;
  • Degree qualifications or an equivalent in your relevant field or work.
