Maintenance Supervisor - Port Hedland

We have 2 positions vacant, 1 is Maintenance Supervisor and the other is Maintenance Leading Had. Based in Port Hedland, these roles are responsible for the supervision and coordination of Qube maintenance personnel and contractors, the reporting of relevant workshop /Site activities and managing the quality of work performed. This roles require a minimum of at least three years trades’ qualified experience working in the mining industry with one of those years in a supervisory role is essential to the position. A strong people/supervision skill together with an ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels is important, as are sound planning and organisation skills.

A strong understanding and working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, legislation and Chain of Responsibility obligations. The Supervisor will also be required to use their own initiative and apply a deductive approach when maintaining productivity and cost effectiveness.

The roles are offered on a residential basis living in the city of Port Hedland. A housing allowance is provided. The operations work on a 24/7 basis and shift work will be required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Trade Certification.
  • Experience working with Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment
  • Experience in a heavy industry materials handling or mining environment (3+ years post trade)
  • Leadership experience
