About the role

Have you always wanted to get into the mining industry? Or are you currently working within the Resources Sector and interested in Plant Operator opportunities? Then this is the ideal opportunity for you!

We are currently recruiting for Trainee Plant Production Operators and full on the job training will be provided at one of our Iron Ore sites in the Pilbara. Once initial training is complete you will then work FIFO from Perth to Koodaideri.

Reporting to the Supervisor Plant Production, you will be involved with:

  • Fixed Plant Equipment inspections and monitoring operations

  • Operations for mobile balance machines – Stackers and reclaimers

  • Wash-down activities both preventative and spillage clean up

  • Basic maintenance activities

  • Raising notifications for equipment issues

  • Assisting maintenance teams with breakdown works

  • Actively using safety systems and tools

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Experience working in a shift environment
  • WA C Class Drivers licence

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve results

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Desire to learn and develop as a Plant Production Operator
